Emergency and storm damage in the Hills District

Storms across the Hills regularly bring down branches and whole trees. If a tree has fallen on a structure or is at imminent risk of failing, contact us and we'll prioritise it.

For a tree that has come down and is on a house, car, fence or blocking access, we can usually attend the same day. Make-safe work removes the immediate hazard; full removal and clean-up follows.

If a tree poses an imminent danger to life or property, The Hills Shire Council can grant urgent approval by phone. We'll help you document the situation for the council and your insurer, with photos and a written statement.

For insurance claims, keep photos of the damage before anything is moved and get a written invoice describing the work. We provide both as standard.

Price guide

Emergency make-safe from around $600. Full removal and clean-up quoted on site. Every job is quoted on site at a fixed price.

Questions about emergency and storm damage

A tree is leaning after a storm but hasn't fallen. What should I do?

Keep people and cars clear of the fall zone and contact us. Don't try to prop or cut it. If it's threatening a neighbour's property, let them know too.

Tell us what you need and we'll arrange a site visit with a qualified local arborist. Quotes are fixed price and include clean-up and green waste removal.

A photo of the whole tree and one of the access path help us quote faster, often without a site visit.

We'll call or text you, usually within a few business hours. No obligation.
