Land and block clearing in the Hills District

Vegetation clearing on acreage and development sites across Dural, Kenthurst, Annangrove and the north-west growth areas. We work out which approvals apply before a single tree comes down.

Clearing on rural-residential land is covered by a mix of rules: council tree controls, state vegetation laws, and bushfire clearing entitlements. Which ones apply depends on the zoning, the vegetation type and what you're building. Getting this wrong is expensive, so we start with a site assessment and tell you what needs a permit, what's exempt, and what an arborist report will need to cover.

Once approved, we clear to the plan: selective removal of individual trees, or full clearing of a footprint for a shed, driveway or house pad. Timber is chipped on site, removed, or cut for firewood as you prefer.

For development applications we prepare the Arboricultural Impact Assessment and tree protection plan the council will ask for.

Price guide

Half-day selective clearing from around $1,200. Larger clearing jobs quoted per site after assessment. Every job is quoted on site at a fixed price.

Questions about land and block clearing

Can I clear under the 10/50 bushfire rule?

Only if your property is in a designated 10/50 entitlement area, which you can check with the NSW RFS online tool, and even then there are exclusions. We'll confirm what applies to your block.
